P&O Ferries
P&O ferries operate from UK ports like Dover and Hull to continental Europe, they also run services to and from Ireland to the UK. They are a service that is well known within the ferry industry and second to none. Services to the continent are Hull to Zeebrugge, Hull to Rotterdam, and Dover to Calais. They have many sailings each day to the European ports (named above). Their ships are like floating restaurants so if you’re a lorry driver who needs to stop because of the tachometer this is and ideal break. (well providing it is on your route that is). P&O have a wealth of experience in the way it handles passengers needs and their ships show you that this is factual. On board you’ll find shops, cafe’s and restaurants in their food court. And of course there is a bar too. On the Spirit of Britain (Dover Calais) there are 12 decks alone, these ships are big, very big. Take a look at the short video’s below, the KMFM video has a great insight into the Spirit of France from Dover and if you only have time for one video be sure to make it that one. For me there is only one great service on cross channel ferries and it’s P&O, and as I said before, if you are forced to take a break because of tacho readings, this is by far the very best way. During this pandemic P&O services have been constant and been there for passengers needs every step of the way, their professionalism knows no boundaries, I have travelled with them on numerous occasions and would do so again at the drop of a hat.
At this period in time the video above is extremely important
With the pandemic around at this moment in time it is extremely important for surfaces to be clean and free of germs. Please watch the video above for an insight as to what goes into the cleaning of the passenger area’s of the ships. It is equaly important for passengers to travel fear free, knowing that their health and sefety has (and is) been taken care of from the time you embark to the time you disembark, these are steps that are NOT taken lightly, both crew and passengers welfare is their concern and you have to applaud them for that.

An on board look at ship facilities, well worth a look
